In class on Monday the 13th we discussed in Professor Angela’s class a horror story about this married lesbian couple who moved in a old haunted house, stuff happened and it opened their eyes on their problems beforehand. The two wives never bicker this much and one of the wives went missing for the whole day and one day the other wife stepped into a reality that showed herself and her wife happily married. I think the house is a metaphor for marriage as a whole and love as a whole. Sticking together while facing the toughest challenges. It is hard but if couples do the work it is possible. Another thing we did was create a timeline from birth to now and connecting a really deep emotion within a memory we like.

On Wednesday the 15th we researched what we like and we could’ve use anything from articles to social media, after that we had to create a thesis. I found that a bit difficult to do because my topic was a bit more of a informative thing.

In Rachel’s class on Monday the 13th we read and discussed how autobiography is used. It uses qualitative and qualitative data. Autobiography is using yourself to tell people about culture through your lenses.

On Wednesday the 15th , we discussed cultural objects and how cultural objects can influence places around the world and at home too. We wrote about a cultural object that is dearly to us and how that object made us get through something. I wrote about the giant hello kitty my sister gifted me for my birthday when she left for college and how it soothes my loneliness in times when she’s not there.
