I remeber that we talked about Venezuela and how factory workers are taking their factories back, turning into socialism and away from capitalism. The Work You Do, The Person You Are — Reflection Blog
At home(cause i wasnt there that day), I read “The Work You Do, The Person You Are” by Toni Morrison, and it really made me think about growing up and responsibility. Week 2 Poem/reflection.
Another Day, Same Brain I wake up with my heart already tired, like it worked the night shiftwithout clocking out. The mirror and I have a complicated relationship. Some days it says you’re fine, other days it saysyou’re the before picture. I drink coffee like it’s medicine.Scroll through other people’s happinesslike it’s a museum.Everyone is glowing in soft lightingand I’m fluorescent at best. My phone knows too much about me.Knows I pause too longon pictures of girls who look effortless, girls who say “just vibes”like anxiety isn’t sitting next to themon the couch. If I could swap lives for a daylike the moviesI’d choose someone who sleeps eight hours, someone who walks into roomslike they…
