This week on Monday we visited the Herbert Von King Park where I could observe a quiet landscape with the green and tall trees and the hot sun, hear the laughter of the children in coexistence and a tranquility while walking, we were asked to create a poem with what we observed. Nature A beautiful landscape A beautiful path to walk The big green trees transmitting happiness The green and shining grass The children playing, laughing and running A squirrel singing about his happiness A stone A branch A drop of water Everything, nature loves A song for this tree that has been providing protection for years The happy squirrel…

Week 7
This week in Ethnography class we saw a movie called “5 Factories – Worker Control in Venezuela” basically it is about the control of workers who work in Venezuelan factories, they work in a union instead of being guided by individuals. The workers among them commented that the highest-ranking participants got much more money than them, the workers worked long hours and they were paid very little, they did not have health insurance, among other things. The capitalist system they had was only benefiting individuals and companies since they were the highest priority and not workers. In the Composition class we chose a symbol (object) and described it in different…

Park Project
Visiting the park where I have lived many memories brought me nostalgia, it had been a while since I went and when I returned I remembered everything I have lived there, walking through the grass, having a great view of Manhattan and listening to the sound of the sea and the waves brings a lot of tranquility, what I like the most is playing soccer with friends, the park is small but very comfortable to relax and sit and read on a large rock while listening to the sound of the sea, the community always keeps the park clean and the park staff also takes very good care of the…

Week 2
This week was quite interesting, the reading of “The Cask of Amontillado” by Edgar Allan Poe, caught my attention it was a very interesting reading and more the debate if it was correct that Montresor there killed Fortunato, although we do not know very well why he did it could be for some kind of revenge for some damage in the past, but we really do not know it but we do know that Montresor killed him in the cruelest way making him suffer until Fortunato died, as classes pass and we read more, in the same way I generate more confidence with myself to read and continue practicing my…

This is the limit of the three, this never Pride wins us and we carry more What’s the use…
