For Comp 2, we had been working on our essays in class. I was absent from prior classes, but did manage to get them done. I honestly enjoyed the autobiography essay, especially due to the fact that we had control on how it was told. In our ethnography class we were given a paper to go a area and observe around us, in which we also inluded our thoughts. I enjoyed the assignment, especially because one never really thinks to stop for a moment and just see what is happening around us. It gave us a time to just sit, observe and think.

This week, we watched some videos that discussed trading goods and how it was used in earlier economies. Now we don’t have any systems like that, nor have the ones we had before ever lasted long. On Wednesday we discussed our plans for Monday, and we were continuing the reading from Monday. Which we then discussed in groups.

In English, we have been reading poems and just talking. Not only that but we had written our own with words that have come in the text, I honestly liked that task, especially since its so cool how we use words that comes from someones piece of work and make it into our own. Poems are such a unique piece of writting/art that expresses so much. In our other class with Angela, we have been in groups reading articles and talking about them as well.
