I found this past Monday’s focus quite interesting and a great introduction to the atypical manner in which this class is structured. The deeply flawed approach to education that is enforced in early and even higher education to an extent is a topic of interest and relatability for myself, especially as someone that has weathered the more extreme side of academia from a young age. It’s unfortunate that so much time has passed and yet so little has changed, but every shift towards reconsidering our current system is a reminder of our capacity to evolve.
