During this week , we read a few articles that spoke about workers that were in Venezuela. How they operated in factories without bosses . We took turns reading the articles . How their work was and what was the experience like . How the situations were like during those times . It was very interesting reading it as a class . Just how everybody felt differently and had their own point of view

we watched a film called “5 Factories – Worker Control in Venezuela.” The movie is about factories in Venezuela where the workers don’t just take orders from a boss. Instead, they work together in groups or unions and help make decisions. In the film, workers explained that even though they worked very long hours, they were paid very little. Some also said they didn’t get benefits like health insurance. They felt that in the older capitalist system, the people in charge made most of the money, while regular workers did most of the hard work but didn’t get treated fairly. In English Composition 2 week 6, we focused on different ideas for our autobiographies and thinking about the most effective way to present them while preserving their emotional impact. I’ve already brainstormed my main ideas, but now I’m working on organizing them into a strong written format.
also studied how activists and people living with AIDS protested for access to treatment during a time when the government did not treat the crisis with urgency. Many life-saving medications were either delayed or priced so high that people couldn’t afford them, which led some to obtain the drugs illegally. Groups like ACT UP formed to demand equality for AIDS patients and push for the release of necessary treatments to help prevent further deaths in our ethnography class , we learned more about auto-ethnography

what we did . April 13-15
we read a short story about a haunted house. As we discussed it more, we realized the story actually had a deeper meaning about pain, trauma, and struggles in a relationship. Instead of directly explaining these hardships, the author used the horror genre to express them in a more symbolic way. Afterward, we created timelines of important moments in our lives. From that, we chose one meaningful event to write about, using any genre we prefer. In Ethnographic Methods at Work, we went around the classroom sharing what we did over spring break.
