Week 11, My poem from mondays trip
The grass leans softly in the breeze,Bright under the warming sun.Birds drift across the open sky,Their songs light and undone. People rest on faded towels,Golden in the afternoon heat,Eyes closed beneath the shining light,Listening to the city slow its beat. Shade gathers gently beneath the trees,Cool against tired skin,While laughter moves like quiet wavesAnd peace settles softly within. The world feels still for just a moment,No rushing, no place to be,Only sunlight, grass, and birds above,And calm spreading endlessly.
