I feel alone, but not empty,It’s a heavy loneliness, yes,
but it also teaches me who I am
when no one else is watching.

I grew up without asking permission,
and now I walk calmly,
even though it sometimes hurts
to know that I no longer fit in where I once did.

    I walk through streets I used to know,
    shadows of a self I let go.
    The past still whispers, soft and low,
    but I keep moving, steady, slow.
    Each step I take, a page I turn,
    lessons learned and bridges that burn
