For my cultural object, I chose a reusable water bottle. Before you start wondering why in the world I would choose a reusable water bottle as my cultural object, I would like to mention that I carry a reusable water bottle daily to school, the gym, or just whenever I am outside. It is a part of my routine since I fill the bottle up with water so frequently. I believe the bottle connects to a sense of control and discipline. I know that if I do not get the right water intake for the day, I will feel low-energized and dehydrated, and when I use it consistently, I feel like I am staying on top of my habits and taking care of myself. I choose a reusable water bottle because it connects to a deeper meaning of self-improvement, being on top of those small habits are like small wins that reflect responsibility, self-love, and lifestyle.
