Article 149 helped factory workers fight for democracy and this resulted in unions being formed to strengthen work production without a hierarchy. This was a stepping stone workers having power over their hours and how they operate. This was in Venezuela at the time under President Chavez. Craziest thing about it is that there are unions formed all around the world and it stems from the idea that workers want to have some sort of power instead of being controlled and forced to work for profit.
