Week 3

In ethnography we discussed understanding ethnography and how to think like one. We also went over the ethics of it.

Week 4

We discussed the ethics of AI and the use of it in writing for this generation. In Ethnography we started a mapping project where you choose a park by your school and go there and see how people are acting or what is happening.

Week 5

We watched a film called People’s Park of a Chinese park. A man with a camera was walking through it filming everyone and everything that was happening. We discussed how it was weird and we wouldn’t want to be filmed like that.

Week 8

Week 8 we worked on essay structure and MLA formatting for our research essays. We continued to work on the essay through the week. In Ethnography we watched a film about worker controlled factories in Venezuela where everyone earns equal pay.

Week 9

This week we continued to work on our essays and do 1 on 1s regarding them. We continued to read about the worker controlled factories and systems in Venezuela and how the old owners do things to sabotage them.

Week 10

Worked on essays and I missed a day this week. What is data in ethnography

Week 11

I was unable to go on Monday to the field trip due to a final I had directly after in Math. On Wednesday we worked on the research essay and did an ethnographic observation on Bryant Park.
