This week in ENGL 203 we had to read passages with the whole class which honestly I liked a lot because we all had a chance to read and it wasn’t huge parts, it made me pay more  attention so i could keep up with the whole class. I personally think that when we have to do group talks before class it first  starts off a little awkward for me but later on in class I feel like it makes me more comfortable to read or share out loud since I’m not someone who interacts much with others or really shares in class. The reading this week i had to defend montresor in the debate which was kinda hard because we tried to defend his action but i really feel like there wasnt a way for us to defend him because we didn’t hear much about his reasons to kill fortunato, he could be just gotten revenage in a very different way i wont say he did it for no reason because in the beginning he did say “Fortunato had hurt me a thousands of times and i had suffered quietly” (edgar allen pope) i really wish the author could gone more into depth about what he had done or what was so bad about the last thing he did that he had to do what he did.
