Week 2-5

Another topic we discussed was the difference between public and private schools. Depending on the school system, students may receive different types of education and opportunities. Public schools focus more on preparing students to work for companies, while private schools provide more resources or encourage leadership and entrepreneurship.

Week 3: Composition 2: In class we read “The Cask of Amontillado” by Edgar Allan Poe, A man called Montresor kills Fortunato for revenge, but never clearly explains why. He leads and traps Fortunato and leaves him to die slowly in a cruel way. Montresor may have killed before because how come he knew how to lead someone without rising suspicion? He definitely made trial and error with others. We also debated if Montresor was right or wrong for killing Fortunato which was preety tense and fun.

Week 4: Ethnographic mapping is where we pick a park that is of our choosing and place 6 or more markers of a moment or interaction in that park. Also using AI for questions that linger in your head or help explain a certain topic in a different way, that good. BUT choosing to be “lemme not do this boring work and just get the answer from [AI app] and not needing an explanation to how it got to that answer.” I’m sorry but you are not learning to study and research on what you are stuck on, you’re just putting answers that it gave while you don’t go over the paper again to get a better grip on the subject. :/

Week 5: The video we saw was 2 persons filming people in a park to show how its like there, filming while people sing songs that is fine but people minding there business and turned to look to see what the camera was for because they felt uncomfortable in some way. Could have at least let them know and stuff. but for 150 or so dollars for showing in class? no. Put the video in YouTube instead of making people pay to see.. Its free.
