This week for English composition 2, we were brainstorming ideas for our autobiography and the way we want to present our autobiography while keeping the same emotional value. I have already brainstormed my ideas. I just need to figure out the best way to present it on paper. We also learned how activist and people with AIDS were protesting and demanding treatment that the government was not releasing because they did not see it as a major issue to be dealt with causing many to die. If medication/treatment were being released, it was at an expensive cost that could not be afforded by many so instead people were illegally acquiring the drug. The ACT UP protest was created to fight for equality for AID patients and so the necessary drugs can be released to prevent the spread of AIDs. We learned this information from a documentary called “how to survive a plague”. In ethnography class, we learned about auto-ethnography where you use your own experience to better understand the world around you. For this class, we have to find a personal physical object that we can creatively include in our autobiography
